Holy Week Gentle Flow 60

In this Gentle Flow class we reflect on the events of Holy Week – from Palm Sunday through Resurrection Sunday as we notice the “pause” – that space of waiting, of unknown, of in-between.

Palm Sunday

They took palm branches and went out to him shouting, “Hosanna” John 12:13

Maundy Thursday/ Holy Thursday / The Last Supper

“This is my body given to you.” Luke 22:19

Good Friday / The Crucifixion of Jesus.

“Jesus called out with a loud voice, “Father, into your hands I command my spirit.” When he had said this, he breathed his last.” (Luke 23:46)

Easter Sunday is a day to celebrate that Jesus rose from the dead and is alive today!

Three days after Jesus died, some women visited the tomb with burial spices and found the stone that had concealed the entrance to the tomb had been rolled away. When they entered, they did not find His body.

While they were wondering about this, a man in the garden said to them: He is not here; He has risen!

When they came back from the tomb, they told all these things to the disciples.

He has risen!
